2 baby showers-guest list dilemma

So my co-workers are planning a surprise baby shower for me that I only know about because DH let it slip. They don't know that I know. My MIL is planning a shower for me the month before. I am pretty close with my co-workers and would definitely invite them had I not known about their surprise shower. Now I don't know what to do. If I invite them to MIL's shower, I don't want them to feel obligated to come and buy me another gift and put them in an uncomfortable position. Should I still invite them? Tell them I know about the surprise shower (although I don't want to because I would feel bad about ruining the surprise). Help please!

    I would invite the coworkers.  You aren't supposed to know about their shower, so it only makes sense to invite them as if you were only having one shower.

    Maybe leave it up your H/MIL? Does your H realize he slipped? If so you could share your dilemma with him and let him pass it on to MIL.

    FWIW I don't mind if we have 300 shower posts, or baby name posts for that matter.  I read this board for all things related to having a baby in June 2014, which include baby showers and baby names.

    I invited 4 co workers to my actual shower. They threw me one at work as well. The one at work was more of cake, a potluck lunch and they all threw in some $ towards a gift card.

    i didn't feel guilty about it. I figured they knew they were invited to my actual shower and they'd adjust a contribution or not contribute to the work one.

    I've been invited to two showers for the same person...one her mom threw and the other was at work.  I didn't spend anymore than I normally would have, I gave her the big gift I got at her regular shower and then a few smaller items at the work shower.  I don't think it's a big deal.
