Nursing moms: how much water?

How much water are you striving to drink each day if you nurse?

Re: Nursing moms: how much water?

  • Everytime I'm up I drink a full glass. Not sure what it equates to but I can def tell the difference in my supply if I forgot to drink during the day.

  • I try to have at least 100 oz of water a day.
  • No set goal but I'm SO thirsty all the time so it's a lot! Probably TMI, but I judge my intake my the color of my pee and drink more water if it's too yellow.
  • Um, I guess I need to start drinking more water!!!

  • I have been drinking about 4 to 5 liters of water most days (growth spurts tend to be 7 to 8 liter days).  I have been using my camelbak eddy bottle so I can track my water intake fairly easily.

Ain't that the truth! I have to hide my glass because DD will drink it if I leave it out.

  • I'm aiming for around 100oz. I have a 32oz water bottle I have with me at all times.
