For those 6 weeks or more…pee-fest calming down?

I feel like the pee-fest of my 4th and 5th week is starting to calm down a bit now…like suddenly today, I don't have to pee every 15 minutes!

I thought I read somewhere that peeing like crazy is usually replaced by morning sickness around the 6th week, which seems to be the case with me…has that been true for anyone else?

  • I don't know, I'm still peeing an awful lot!  Getting up at night and almost peeing my pants when I get to the toilet!  (Ok, tmi)

  • Coffee bean, I will say on that note - the urgency has NOT calmed down. I may be down to once every couple hours, but when I have to go I have to GO. And I'm still waking up middle of the night to pee which I never did prior to pregnancy.

  • I am with steelersgirl80- I only noticed an increase in peeing because of the increase in water I drink.  Now MS is a whole different story.

  • Sounds about right. Less pee and more puking! :( I'd rather pee all day.

  • Sounds like this is kinda the norm!  The amount I pee definitely increases if I drink more, but it feels less over the top for sure.  And of course, right after I posted this, I peed 2x in about 40 minutes.  lol  But I am definitely going for longer stretches overall.

My DH thinks I'm weird, but I am welcoming m/s with open arms because it gives me reassurance!

  • Same thing happening here.  I was able to sleep through the night without getting up to pee for the last two nights, yippee!  Of course, it painfully felt like my bladder was about to explode when I did wake up. ;)  Nausea has definitely replaced the peeing constantly.

  • Yes! Me too! There was a period of a week where I was in and out of the bathroom a ton. In half way through my 6th week, and it seems to have mostly subsided. The queesies have definitely taken over the past few days though.

  • I am peeing less, still more than normal, but less than last week. Nausea is still very infrequent.

Not me.  I would rather be on "I didn't know I was pregnant" than have morning sickness.
