Penny Pincher!

So we got a bunch of diapers for LO at my baby shower. They are mostly size 1 so when we ran out of newborn I went out and bought one more pack then just starting using the size 1 after those were gone.
I was looking through that stack of diapers just a minute ago and found another small pack of newborn. It says they are for up to 10 lb babies. I'm pretty sure my baby weighs more than that now (8 lbs at birth, 5 weeks old now) but I'll be damned if I'm going to waste a perfectly good pack of diapers!! So unless they look uncomfortably tight on him, I'm going to use them!
No, there really isn't any point to this post.. But I'm posting anyway!

if you haven't already opened the package, why don't you just exchange them for a size 1 instead? Lots of stores allow this, even without a receipt.

A grocery store in my town will exchange for size or brand as well. There has to be some place that will exchange them.

Like everyone says exchange them but I understand penny pinching for sure. My underwear has holes and TMI now stains from pp leakage but I refuse to buy new underwear until I'm all done pp and the kangaroo pouch is gone.

I'm stretching it as well, LO is FINALLY over 9lbs so newborn are getting small on her. Finishing this package and then moving onto size 1! I've been sorry a few times this last week with blowouts, though. :-/

Same. I bought a larger size of high leg briefs in case I ended up with a c/s. I'm still wearing them even though Lochia is about done. DH calls them The Big Sexys. I'm also still wearing them as a sign that that region is off limits lol

DD2 was in preemie diapers for a few weeks. Now she's in NB. My sister showed up with 6 packs of preemie diapers...the kids tore 3 of them open and put them with the other diapers. I'm trying to use them but they are so small her butt crack hangs out of them. I'm going to exchange the other 3 packs!

I can't even imagine how small preemie diapers are! NB size looks tiny to me!

The weight limits overlap so I wouldn't go just by that. Look at fit and hold amount. I switched when her upper legs were getting red and you could see they were getting tight. I'm saving the newborn size we didn't use.

On the bright side, she started sleeping longer when we went up a size, I don't know if it mattered or not.

Yep tmi. I like black underwear. Then there's no need to talk about stains.
