February 2013 Moms

Well This has been a crappy night...

First the issue with the washer. Minor, and fixed, just annoying.

Then, some jerk has been parked in front of my house for days on end despite no parking overnight, thus, the road in front of my house hadn't been plowed in weeks.

They also haven't plowed our alley yet so my husband parked on the street (he works nights and will be gone before the night parking ban,)

THEN the jerks across the road demanded that we move our car from in front of OUR HOUSE so she can pretend to put her car in the driveway! She's still hanging out over the street because she doesn't know how to drive in the winter!

All my other neighbors are pissing and moaning about the lack of plowing in front of my house making the road slippery and they are blaming ME for it, but it isn't my car in the way!

I hate Michigan. I hate my tiny, cramped house. I hate my neighbors, and I hate this city! I wish we could just leave but unfortunately we are trapped here by this stupid house that we can't afford to sell but don't want to keep.

And I may or may not be slightly over emotional because of the new pregnancy. :'(

  • I hate Michigan too :(  DH says maybe Seattle, but we could never afford it...

  • Tell your neighbours to move to Winnipeg! You learn to deal with the piles of snow on residential streets. If you can't drive in snow, you take the bus, and if you leave your car on the street, the plows go around it. As in, have fun digging out your car the next day. And you get ticketed.... And sometimes get towed. Seriously.... We haven't seen pavement on our streets since November. And that's with plowing.
