High-Risk Pregnancy

*** Monday Bedrest Check-in ***

Good Monday morning ladies!!

How did you sleep?

Any new pregnancy symptoms, cravings or aversions?

Upcoming appointments, milestones or updates?

QOTD: How prepared are you for this baby? (just a few small things or nursery is complete). OR if it's still early on in your pregnancy when to you intend to start preparing?

Re: *** Monday Bedrest Check-in ***

  • I slept alright. Still had to get up every hour to go potty and change positions in bed

I'm still pretty sore. My hips are killing me and I have some intense pain from wonky ligaments in my groin and pelvic area. No fun!!

15 days left until our next ultrasound.

QOTD: in addition to dealing with these cervical issues I'm also dealing with being PgALx2. So my anxiety and apprehension has really kept me from physically collecting anything for this baby... Pinterest is another story though lol!! I think after 30 weeks we'll get the ball rolling. Emotionally though I'M SO READY to meet this baby... or course I want her to stay put for as long as possible but I'm ready to hold her and never let go.

  • Good morning!

I slept great, thankfully.  Needed a good rest.

@tracint, sorry to hear you're hurting!  Hope you feel better soon!

I am still feeling good.  I swear, if the ultrasound didn't tell me I had a short cervix, I would have no idea, even with the cerclage in.  I go back Wednesday for another follow-up with the MFM and Thursday to see my OB.

QOTD: We are pretty much using everything from DD for this baby, since we're having another girl.  So, I feel like I have almost everything we need, but at the same time, nothing is done!  We are still renting so it's not like we can do too much to decorate.  We are planning to move DD into the extra bedroom/guest room and keep the nursery as-is for baby.  The guest room has been almost a storage room, so it will take some time to clear it out and get it ready for DD.  At the same time, I feel like we have some time since baby will probably room in with us for a couple months after she comes home.  So basically, I alternate between thinking there's not much to do vs. OMG nothing is done and freaking out!!  I am also trying to save money so I don't want to splurge on new stuff that isn't necessary.. but Pinterest is definitely fun to browse!  :)
