First, (((HUGS))) to @MrsMcIrish and I’m sure I’m one of many who is praying for a miracle for her.

@2MamazinSeattle – Glad to hear you are feeling better!! And thanks for the good wishes!

@xmaystarx - Congrats on a smooth transfer and F/X for a strong beta on Friday!!

@BeckyP005 – I’m so happy to hear you guys are going to (finally) be moving forward! F/X that they will find another couple to do a shared cycle very soon!!

@Marshmallowevening – I totally understand wanting to have multiple options or a back-up plan in place. Sending you ((Hugs)) while you wait.

@mm29 – Yeah for a great baseline appointment! I’m hoping you get great news on your donor’s progress. 

@DoublePortion – I hope your first OB appointment goes smoothly. One question (just curious), since you have twins, do you know if you’ll also need to see an MFM in addition to the OB?

AFM, I had blood work taken today, but still expect that I’m on schedule to transfer this Wednesday. Of course, my area is supposed to get quite a bit of snow Tuesday night, so I hope this doesn’t delay my transfer. My nurse assured me that both my doc and the embryologist both have 4-wheel drive, LOL.

QOTW: I’m hoping to sneak in a last minute pedicure before my transfer on Wednesday.

Me: AMA, DOR, undetectable AMH, carrier of SMA, MTHFR homozygous C677T, high cytokines, low IGg B cells, Factor XIII V34l mutation, High Anti-Phosphatidylethanolmine, borderline hypothyroid and mildly insulin resistant.

MH: No known issues, aside from MTHFR.

Recommendations from RI: LIT, Humira, IVIG, Lovenox, Baby Aspirin, Folic Acid, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.

Currently taking:  Pre-Natal vitamins, Foltanx, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.

When cycling also taking: Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, Humira and IVIG.

TTC since 7/11/09..with medical intervention starting in 2010, including 4 failed IVF's and 6 failed IUI's...only "success" was a chemical pregnancy in 11/2012 (credited to use of DE).

    FET #1 (11th cycle) on 8/23/13 = BFN.

FET #2 (12th cycle) Transfer of last two (day 6) donor egg blasts on 1/22/14 = BFP, EDD = 10/10/14 (please stick little BOY!)

@MrsT4 I plan on asking my OB on Wednesday if he thinks I'll need to see a MFM. I really trust my OB to do what is best for me but of course if he says no and at any point in the PG I feel like I need to see a MFM I will definitely push for it. I kind of hope he wants me to have my NT scan with a MFM just because of the better equipment they have. :)

Check in: Our carrier had her first appointment since starting Lupron and her estrogen was too high. So, we've been pushed back at least two weeks before I even get to start my meds. I was supposed to go in on the 31st of Jan for a baseline, but now they have me scheduled for the 12th. I'm just so bummed. I know 2 weeks is nothing in the grand scheme of things, but this just feels like one more thing that isn't going according to plan. I'm sure I'm making a mountain out of a molehill here, but it just really bummed me out.

QOTW: I have started working out. Since New Year's, I'm averaging 4 days a week of at least 35 minutes of actual working out! Too bad I'm not making any progress on the weight loss though.
    :(

    TTC since April 2010
    BFP #1 – March 2011, missed m/c April 2011
    BFP #2 – October 2011, m/c November 2011
Surprise BFP #3 – December 2011, diagnosed as cornual, terminated January 2012
    BFP #4 – June 2012, m/c July 2012
Diagnosed with bicornuate ute and MTHR gene mutation
    BFP #5 – October 2012, missed m/c November 2012
    BFP #6 – January 2013, m/c March 2013
No longer TTC. Diagnosis: Hostile ute. Heartbroken and bitter. Pursuing surrogacy.
June 2013 - Carrier found! Could this really happen?!

@Sammer818- so very sorry for the delay. It's not the end of the world, but its a setback and it's disappointing. You have every right to be upset. I hope the next couple of weeks fly by for you and all goes well.

Afm - still waiting...I don't do well with waiting! Our agency sent our donors medical info Thursday, so I'm hoping the clinic was at least able to set up some appts with her.

For now, I'm definitely Mrs Cranky Pants... I hope I feel better once things get going.

Qotw - I've been trying to loose at least 5lbs before our next transfer. I'm still very sore from my 1st trip back to the gym on saturday! Been trying to eat lots of veggies and really minimize the unhealthy stuff... :-??

Checking in; DH and I went to meet with our RE , discuss our options and it looks like we are a go for February :) , we will be doing something completely different ,FET with no meds , just monitor what the natural process of my body goes thru , he mentioned maybe just doing a shot of HCG but other than that nothing else. I feel very excited , but cautious , I have been so excited about something new that might give me a baby and everything has failed , so we will see.

@DoublePortion – Thanks for satisfying my curiosity, LOL! Again, I hope your OB appointment goes well next week.

@MrsMcIrish – Yes, I’m back in the game…thanks for your support! My baseline was Jan. 2 (but I was having trouble posting) and it seems things have moved quickly. I’m surely hoping and praying for a positive outcome for you this time!! Is your next beta on Wed? And forgive me for asking, but was this your first frozen transfer?

@lincoln - Good luck with GC’s new attorney. I hope things move smoothly from here on out.

@sammer – Sorry about the delay, many of us understand and have been there. It sucks, but hopefully the extra two weeks go by quickly.

@Km672 – Assuming both thaw, we’re going to transfer two. I would have been open to a SET, but due to lack of communication, my frozen embies from the donor cycle were frozen in pairs (6 total and we transferred 2 fresh and had 4 frozen). Honestly, all of my transfers (both OE and DE) have been 2 embryos and given my age (43) I know it makes sense to transfer two…especially since we never got further than 1 chemical out of all of my cycles to date.

Km – I’m sorry that you’re in waiting mode as well. F/X that things progress quickly and that you can get a calendar soon!

@Bean – Good luck with your upcoming FET cycle. February is just around the corner!

Hi everyone!  I'm 14w3d today and am totally showing already.  I told my boss I was pg on Friday so she wouldn't have to wonder anymore.  ;-)  Generally feeling good, though the paranoia that something has happened or will happen to the baby hasn't gone away.  I have a doppler but it doesn't work well for me.  I don't know if that's because I have a retroverted uterus or because I got a 2 mhz when I probably should have gotten a 3.  :(  I just keep trying to tell myself that a loss is unlikely after 12w3d, when I had my last u/s.  :-S

QOTW:  I've been going to the gym more regularly and it does make me feel great afterwards.  I don't push myself too too hard -- 1/2 an hour on the elliptical plus some squats and other moves with hand weights.  Really grateful I've been feeling well enough to work out.

Not much going on here. We tried for our NT scan on Friday, but baby did not want to get in the right position. We will try again next week. I guess the only upside to being high risk is lots of ultrasounds, after next week it looks like I will be getting them monthly.
8/2011: Diagnosed with ovarian cancer, ovaries and tubes removed

@Manada started estrace yesterday and I finished birth control pills yesterday. I've been doing lupron since January 13. I started bleeding today, so I'm planning to go in tomorrow for my suppression check and hopefully to start stims.

We're looking at a retrieval the first week of February if everything goes well.

QOTW: We had Thai food for dinner tonight to celebrate our 35 month-a-versary. Mmm green curry and fried tofu. YUM!
    ****loss discussed*****

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.

    Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.

    Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response

    IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
    BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
    1st ultrasound (3/6  6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.

***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***

    FET #1 December 2014
Intralipid infusion on Dec 10. Transfer of 1 day 3 nine-cell embryo into my uterus on Dec. 19. (acupuncture immediately before and after)
    BFP on Dec. 27; Beta 1 Jan 2 (14dp3dt): 665, Beta 2 Jan 4 (16dp3dt): 1859, Beta 3 Jan 6 (18dp3dt): 4449, Beta 4 Jan 10 (22dp3dt): 12,251.

Huge congratuations to all of those with exciting updates this week.  I am so, so happy for you all.  Lots of hugs to those who need them.

Update: Just hanging in there with cold season hitting us full force.  Got antibiotics for one (ear infection) and breathing treatments for the other, so hopefully everyone will be healthy again soon.

QOTW: Taking care of myself has not been my strong suit lately, but I have started drinking green smoothies with kale in them, and that feels like a healthy step.

I'm late again but thinking of all you ladies! Congrats for all the good news and giant hugs to those of you who definitely could use them.

    **********PAIF update********************

We have our NT scan tomorrow and I'm feeling pretty good about it. I am also getting a blood draw for Mat21 but I'm not 100% sure they are going to consider me high enough risk to run it. Apparently you can't elect to have it run just because and pay OOP. If you're not considered high risk, Sequenom will send the sample back. I think my doctor considers me high risk because of my 2 m/c and he's planning on doing it, but I'll find out for sure when I talk to my doctor tomorrow. Either way, I can't wait to see LO again.

QOTW:  I got a pedicure a couple of weeks ago, oh and I did some shopping for myself on oldnavy.com yesterday. That counts too!
