I have the chance to get my coaching license in March, but I would have to travel about 2 hours away for a course which spans Friday to Sunday. DD will just turn 1 at the beginning of March and she will still be nursing. I could force DH and her to come with me, but they would end up sitting at the hotel all day Friday-Sunday while I go to class, which sounds pretty boring. And the course is not in a fun town where they could go out and find stuff to do so they will be really bored for three days. DD will take a bottle, but she does not like it. DH is willing to come, but understandably, her prefers to stay home. WWYD? I have never spent a night away from DD and I really don't want to. because she still wakes up for MOTN feedings. (Not going to lie, however, the thought of 8 consecutive hours of sleep is enticing...).
Re: WWYD- leaving LO for 2 nights
Have fun at the classes!
BFing never worked out for me, but honestly, I was fine leaving the girls for a weekend seminar. I think with DD1 the first time was when she was almost a year old, but that was a whole week, actually. With DD2 it was a weekend when she was 3 months old.
I would totally do it.
