You are definitely not alone. If Bean had been a boy, I'm not sure she'd have a name YET! We could not decide. My cousin and her husband just took a baby name book with them to the hospital- they flipped through it after the baby was born and figured it out.
We're struggling too. We have a first name that *may* be it, but no middle name yet and I feel like we should have at least one good backup option just in case. It's a daunting task for sure!

ditto emerald. We even decorated the wall letters which is a commitment, but whats $20 if you change your mind?
Maybe that's what I need to do. Spend money and make a commitment. I thought we had one picked last week - but now I'm not so sure it 'flows' with our last name!
Is the issue that you guys don't like the same names or that youare trying to chose from a few you both like? With DH and I we each had our own list of boy names we really liked and Riley was the only name on both lists. It wasn't either of our first choices, DH liked Hunter best and I really liked Logan or Gavin, but now that he is Riley I can't imagine calling him any of the other names we thought about. GL and don't worry if you get to the hospital and don't have a name yet, you will find the right name before leaving.

go to michales or wherever and play around with some names/letters. worse case baby boy meg will be named after birth! Thats what i thought we would do until i fell in love with this name.
We chose Ty's name after being harrassed by the mean ol' birth certificate lady. We had two in mind...and sort of chose under pressure. Luckily, it all worked out.
For this poor kid, we haven't a clue. We can't agree on anything. There are a few options- but none that we love. Sigh.
We had the same issue. ,We kept sex a surprise so we had to come up with two names! Ugh. I found myself caring less and less as my due date approached and, one day before my due date, just gave up and let husband choose.
Naming is so hard, and boys names are much harder than girl names IMO! It doesn't sound like you want to share, but I'd love to see your list. Can't wait to find out - I'm sure it's going to be just perfect!
Listen closely to your dreams! I dreamed Alex's name and I know there are several ladies on here who had the same experience... maybe you can manifest it, lol.
We had a "short list" and I dreamed that a boy, about 5 years old, came running across a playground to me shouting "Mommy!" and I said "What's your name?" (I'm SO smart when I'm sleeping!) and he said "Alexander John, silly!"
What will really creep me out is when that moment happends in real life! I have a feeling it will...
No go to sleep! Lol (seriously- good luck- it's hard!)
Re: I seriously cannot name this kid.
Natalie didn't have a name until the day we went home from the hospital...naming kids is really hard.
