At my house DD only gets milk and water. My mom keeps her during the week for me and she insists on giving her juice sometimes. I don't really like DD to have juice on a regular basis. Certain occasions I will allow it. Does anyone have any suggestions on something healthy to give DD to drink besides milk so it will pacify my mom. Thanks

I give DD juice or lemonade here and there, but I dilute it with water. Honestly, I dilute my own juice and lemonade with water most of the time, too, because it's even too sweet for me.
I'd tell my mom that it's my child and my choice.
my daughter drinks very watered down juice. They started it in the in-home daycare- at first, I was very frustrated and oh no- I don't give her juice.
Then honestly- I got over it. Its really not a big deal. Limit it, water it down. Ask your mom if she can only give her one glass a day.
I think we get way too fired up about the small stuff in life. part of having a parent watching your kid- I don't agree with your kid, your rules, if you have a non-paid family babysitter. My sister used to have tons of rules when my parents watched her kids and they got really bitter.
I put lemon slices, strawberries, a couple blueberries etc. in my kid's water sometimes. She loves it.
I'm waaaaayyy more lax than most of the internets on food and even I don't let my kid have juice all that often. When I do I water it down. Like 8oz water to 1/2 oz juice...just a splash. I'm okay with that.

Hence, why my mom would never watch my kid 5 days a week. I can tell a babysitter what to do a lot easier than my mom.
