I'm expecting my 2nd...just 15 months after my 1st. I'm noticing a lot of pressure and pulling right near previous incision. I'm wondering if this is normal. It's more than just the normal 1st tri round ligament stuff. Thanks.

  • Yep, things are just stretching.  I think it's pretty normal.

  • With my second pregnancy I constantly felt like my incision was pulling and stretching.  It was way better with #3...it's normal.

  • I had 12 years between pregnancies after my second birth (which was a CS). I had way more pulling/stabbing pains early on in the third pregnancy than I did with my second pregnancy (my first birth was vaginal). I think that is normal too, and it stopped for me around the beginning of second tri.

  • My pregnancies were about three years apart, and I had a lot more pulling and sore muscles with my second pregnancy, even some swelling. Doctor said it was all fine. For me, i felt it my entire pregnancy. If you are concerned, check with your doctor.
