Has anyone had problems itching?

I delivered my baby boy at 34/4 because of extreme dehydration and other problems.  Come to find out I had problems with my liver function and other things. I've had itching with my previous child, but nothing like this.  I thought once I had the baby, that the itching would stop, but it has only gotten worse.  I looked online and saw that I might have had something called icp during pregnancy, which I never heard of.  I am just wondering if anyone ever had something like this happen to them and if so, does it normally last after delivery? I am miserable and my next step will be to call my ob or primary care doctor.  Please help?
