Can I just ask what everyone considers sleeping through the night? The best R has ever done is 730-430 and that only happened once. I don't really consider it STTN because 430 is still MOTN for me.

My LO pretty much does the same lately, and I'm with you...I don't think it's "STTN", but still pretty damn good! Especially compared to the 2 hr stretches I was getting for months. I would consider STTN when they go to bed at a normal hr and they sleep until like 6 or later and are up for the day. Everyone has their opinions though. Some say a 5 hr stretch is STTN even if it's 12-5.
C was sleeping from 9p-9a for months. Then, we went on a long vacation to visit family, he got sick, and now we are visiting family again and he's not the best sleeper anymore. I know it could be worse, but he's up usually 2-3 times a night now. I hope he gets back on his old sleep schedule soon!
My nerves are frayed. We get hardly any sleep. We cosleep and I think it's because she can smell the milk on me. When I leave the bed she sleeps like a log.
I'm putting my LO to bed later....around 8:30, and she sleeps until 5:30 or 6 which I consider STTN. Maybe try a later bedtime for those waking at 4:30 so you'll get a full night's sleep? I get up at 5am each day, and go to sleep right after I get LO down so I'm getting a full night's sleep. I don't consider a full nights sleep "sleeping like a baby" because most babies don't sleep all night!
The last time he STTN (which I define as a six hour stretch, no matter what time) was at six months. Then he started waking up two times a night. Ever since 7 months his sleep has been progressively worse. Also at 71/2 months he got sick which didn't help things. Now he hardly sleeps at all, and the worst part is he only wants me when he wakes up. I think my nipple has become his lovey. He has to squeeze it to fall asleep. I've even tried bed sharing, which is about 50/50 on working. And I just started back at work.....I'm at my wits end!
My LO was sleeping through the night since he was about 2 months old. Now at 8 months he gets up a couple times a night. However I just have to give him his bink back and rub his belly for a moment.

I had to do this too. G wakes up a lot still, and for a while, he was going to bed around 7, and getting up for the day around 5:15. Uh uh, no thanks.
Now he goes to bed a little after 8, and wakes up for the day at 7:05, give or take 3 minutes. So he actually sleeps longer, and I feel better, even with the 4 -10 wake ups a night.
I chose once or twice, but that's not really true, after I started thinking about it. I wake UP once or twice because she is moving or making noise and it turns on the monitor, but I rarely have to actually get up. If I do, I just pat her back and turn on the seahorse, and she's good. She goes to sleep at 8 or 8:30, goes down really easily, and sleeps until about 7:30 every morning.
She has not had to eat during the MOTN since about 4 months.

Coffee = Full night's sleep
ETA-he hates me...5 o'clock and 5 wake ups. Anyone else have a rough night after answering this poll?
