I'm only annoyed because he would have gotten out May 30th and now sometime in June. The summers already feel short without having to make up emergency days.
DD is playing quietly in bed. DH and I are skipping church because the roads in our neighborhood didn't get plowed yesterday and we live on a hill. I feel bad because we're going to miss the next 3 weeks while we're on vacation.
Oh well. More time to pack today. Even though I got a surprising amount done yesterday ( thanks bump for the downtime!)
Waking up slowly. I have to go to work and pick up things to grade (school was cancelled Friday and I didn't bring home my usual weekend work stuff on Thursday night.) Laundry is pretty much done at this point. I might do one more load. Doing one load every night during the week is seriously working. DH and I are having faux Thanksgiving dinner tonight. He bought a turkey on sale and stuck it in the freezer in November, and so tonight we are having turkey, stuffing, and the "fixins". Except, light because I'm watching calories. That makes it less exciting.
Not much planned for today..its cold as shit outside and I don't feel like doing much. Probably gonna find something to throw in the crock pot and do some cleaning up/laundry around here.
DH is at baseball and I get to go to dinner tonight with BF. I also have to get DS an outfit for pics... And suggestions on where to go? Target had nothing.
Just got home from M's track meet. It was a complete clusterfuck and I'm pissed about how some of the races were (dis)organized, but M ran well (2nd place in 55m!) so I guess that's what matters. E had a grand time watching the races and running along the sidelines. If was really cute. Came home to the dishes washed and family room vacuumed, so I'm a happy camper. On the agenda for the rest of the day, folding laundry, figuring out something for dinner, and later watching the Grammy's red carpet with M.

Just got back from Target. It was a "lets get out of the house and buy stuff we don't really need trip", but all thing's considered we didn't spend much, and it was fun. Ice cream for DH, books for DD, nail polish and a yo-yo (YES, A YO-YO) for me.
DD is about to take her nap and then I am off to school for a bit. Or, taking a nap. Both are possible.
I'm hungry but too lazy to feed myself. If only I could somehow will a sweet potato to bake itself...

I am done being productive for the day. Grocery shopped. Made myself 5 lunches for the week (chicken breast, sweet potatoes and kale) ready to go. Made a big pot of chili for tonight, and banana oatmeal muffins for DS. Now he is napping and we have DSS's soccer game at 4:15. I want to eat some leftover Thai food from last night but DH is upstairs working on a project with our trainer and I feel like he will judge me.
I survived the birthday party. Levi got a ridiculous amount of stuff, two kids showed up with no rsvp, and one brought a sibling who stayed. BUT! Levi had a great time, as did all the other kids. And we have been working on doing more outgoing and social things as per the request of his doctor. He seemed really happy, and interacted with all the kids. I also took him to the city with me Saturday and he did really well. Usually he requests to stay in the car (which I wouldn't let him anyway) but he didn't once ask to stay in the car. He started to get stressed out at Costco, and wanted to go home, but who doesn't haha.
Recovering after DD's birthday party last night. 17 three and four year olds at a crowded bouncy house place...need I say more? You can hand me that stiff drink anytime now
I love the food at IKEA. I am not ashamed.
We are headed to the mall to let K run around and hopefully I can squeeze in some shopping. And H better take K no matter how long I want to shop, because this morning he said, "I am glad you got your hair cut, you were starting to look like a crazy cat lady." He immediately apologized and tried to explain, and I actually know what he meant, but I will still make him suffer for that.
Facepalm. Rookie mistake, Mr. Laura.
"Your haircut looks great!" That's it. Don't elaborate.
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.
I live down the street from an IKEA. I only go once or twice a year because I don't want it to lose its appeal.

@MrsT0514, we just made spaghetti squash & meatballs for dinner here. It was really good. I'm going to have to look for that skinny taste recipe.
@CtGirl30 The spaghetti squash casserole came out AWESOME btw!! I would linky for you, but I'm on mobile and a bit technologically challenged when it comes to that, apparently. But its on skinnytaste in the casserole section, I believe. I think you'll love it! I added ground beef to mine and it was amazing!

Then we have to set up our guest room for my parents who are coming tomorrow.
And I am going to be kidless tomorrow! They did not go to home daycare last week so I'm needing a break.

DS is napping. DH us outside putzing around in the snow, trying to act busy. I have an open bottle of wine in the fridge. I think I'm gonna drink it.
@sookiefrackhouse68 best of luck at your interview on Tuesday!!
