I know watery and EWCM are the two fertile types of CM. But, for girls who maybe only get one or two days of fertile CM, what happens to sperm during creamy or sticky days (like maybe O-2)? does it just stay around the cervix and essentially get stuck? Or if you have EWCM two days later, can it then begin its "trip"? If this is a ridiculous question, I'm sorry---I couldn't think how to formulate a good google search.

    i don't think it can survive long in sticky cm because it gets trapped and the acidity of the cervix can kill it.  not sure if it stays long enough to be able to swim in EWCM if it happens the next day, either. as long as you have sex when you have fertile CM, it'll stay around.  have you tried the green tea?  it actually seems to work well for lots of women on here.  GL!!

    These ladies know it ALL! ?Honestly, if I hadn't stumbled on these boards I would just be really, really winging it - I had no idea about fertile days or anything like that.?

    The issue on sperm and cervical interactions has to do with mucus quality. During the non-fertile part of the cycle, the mucus is acidic which kills sperm.

    if you drink it every day before confirmed O, it can create more EWCM.  evening primrose oil does this as well.  i bought a decaf GT because I can't handle too much caffeine and i got 1 more day of EWCM than normal.
