FET Cancelled Update At bottom

Well ladies, after some tears and a pep talk I am letting you all know that I have been cancelled for my FET.

I went for my appointment, and they wouldn't tell me anything about my lining and I knew something was up, since I was told I would get a trigger shot at the appointment. When they called me, they told me I was cancelled because my lining was .. wait for it... too thick! 16.8. So I was told to stop everything, and my nurse will call me on Monday to set up an appointment with the doctor.

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers and support. Hopefully I will be able to just get back up on the bike again.

I don't even know... I didn't realize it was so possible to be too thick, you always hear not thick enough. I had to ask her twice what she said. She said they don't like to see it too much over 10 at this point. Thanks @KC1212 your hugs mean a lot! :-*

I am so sorry! I can't even imagine prepping for all of that and being ready to go in a few days only to have it all called off and have to go back to square one (minus retrieval of course). Sending you lots of ((hugs)). And giving the universe the middle finger in your behalf.

and I have had a thick lining before but not in the fertility sense, made me have a longer heavier period so I hope that doesn't happen to you!

Although I'm not very familiar with FET cycles, I am still very surprised that too thick of a lining would be a problem. I'm so sorry you're canceled. Are you able to try again next month or is your RE having you wait?

I am so sorry! I hope they can figure out a fix! I am always questioned about what cycle day I am on because the nurses always comment about how thick my lining is. I have wondered if it is affecting implantation.

Thank you everyone! I am waiting for the call today from my nurse, since I got cancelled over the weekend. The nurse that called on Saturday said I would have to schedule a meeting with my RE. I will let you all know what is said and what happens.

**UPDATE** My nurse called and basically my lining built up good but too fast, and then it wasn't the triple stripe they want to see for transfer. They put me on prometrium (<-sp) last night to start my period. I will go on BCP's right away, then I will start back on the lupron. They will build me back up slower, with more monitoring, and I will probably go earlier than the said transfer date. So this time it will be day by day with an estimated transfer date.

Triple stripe? Is that something they see on ultrasound? Either way, glad you have a plan. I'm happy they are monitoring more closely this time, definitely more peace of mind that way.

Yes it is seen on the ultrasound. Would have been nice if that twit of a weekend nurse would have told me that, instead that my lining was 'too thick'.

Sounds like a great plan of attack! What is the estimated transfer date? Or is it too soon? Cycle buddy????? My ER and ET is estimated for the first week of March.

Too soon. It all depends on when my period gets here. I have no idea since I am taking that permetrium (sp) to jump start it. She said anywhere between 3 and 10 days, but I have already started feeling crampy.

Sounds like we may be on the same cycle. I start provera today to jump start AF, then start the lupron plan for a FET. Hopefully it will be a great month for all of us!

Freaky glad to hear you can move forward somewhat quickly and hope its not a bad period, but I highly reccomend drinking through that sh*t, I have rarely been sober during a period in months... (Just kidding, ok well maybe only kinda kidding) :-\"

Total bummer!! As for your lining I understand it as having the 3 lines means you're ready to ovulate & if it's "too thick" or the lines are gone that's how they want to see the uterus post-ovulation.
