I feel naked!

I just chopped 11" off my hair and I feel so naked! My hair is now to my shoulders.....I have been hiding behind my hair for so long but really needed a change. Its silly but having long hair offset my weight gain...like I have to be thin to have short hair. But now I feel naked and its totally in my way.

I should have weighed myself before and after my hair cut LOL

My Ovulation Chart

Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
3 cycles clomid with Ob,
1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN

May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't.

February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing.

Yes I am going to donate to Locks of love.
@IFinTN I am very dark haired, with GREY coming in, I have been contemplating getting some lighter highlights to reduce the shock of the grey.....but that costs $$ so I continue to contemplate.

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

It's so nice to have that kind if change. I keep saying I'm going to cut mine but I never do. It's pretty much to my lower back and I need it cut but always find an excuse not to go.
Treat yourself to some highlights to reward yourself for something. Either loosing a little weight or tackling a project in your home. It's important to feel good about yourself and if highlights will do that than go for it!!!

My hair grows pretty fast, I think it took about 3 years to grow from shoulders to my butt.....

Yay for the new haircut! I agree that it's always nice to make a change--it feels like you're taking action! For those of you with very long hair, how do you dry/style it without going insane with boredom? I'd like to grow mine longer, but I already find hair maintenance extremely tedious.

I am sooooooo wanting to get this cut that i found online…….and i have had the same hair FOREVER…cause i love my hair long and I have never been so moved by anything I have seen enough to make a change….until I ran into this style. The only problem…..I really need to love weight. I feel like i hide behind my hair a little….well not hide….but its the most noticeable thing about me. Long and Blonde and this new style that i fell in love with is edgy. Nothing to hide behind

@KirstenAlecia I totally felt the same way, I "hid" behind my long hair and felt i couldn't cut it till I lost weight. YOU know what, I love having it shorter, it looks so good!!! Get what is going to make you feel beautiful and sexy to hell what others think! That style is totally edgy I love it!

@Davie813 i was totally boring I ended up with my hair in a bun more often then not because I couldn't "deal". it was too long didn't curl, wouldn't get straight. Now my curls are back and its shoulder length still long enough to pull back, braid etc etc....

I would like it about 1-2 inches longer just to have a longer braid....but thats nothing.
