KaitiMac: A Labor Story (She is here!)

@KaitiMac is in labor! She went in last night and started the cervidil. Her DH's crazy boss stopped by uninvited and informed everyone she was going to stay the night at the hospital. Luckily her DH was able to Prevent the crazy womans death by getting her out of there. Good job, KaitiMac's Dh!

As of 2 am, they had started the pit and her water broke 45 mins later. At 4 am, she texted to say the contractions were coming on strong and she was hungry. Countdown to baby has begun!

Kaiti just texted me this: @4.5 cms and just got the epi. It didn't hurt at all! Pitocin is all the way up to 20.

@10:30 - "So far we've progressed to 5cm and -1 station, but she's coming out face first. Doc went to feel around in there and Blair bit her finger LOL. They're going to check me again in an hour to see if she'll tuck her chin in as she continues to drop in my pelvis. Fingers crossed that she tucks, if not, we r having a c section."

This is what I am picturing:

@11:15 AM - "OMG they just checked me again and I'm at 9cms AND she seems to have tucked her chin in. Looks like we'll start pushing soon. Holy crap, I'm about to have a baby! Woooo!!"

Yay!!!

@2:50 PM - "Well after 1.5 hours of pushing, Blair Catherine has arrived! She has an incredible set of lungs and was screaming for the first hour of life haha. She was born at 1:14pm CST weighed 7lbs 10oz, 20 inches long. Has a head of light possibly reddish hair. Pictures to come soon!"

Way to go, Momma! We are so happy for you!
