I'm getting in on this super late (considering it's the last day to PM you!) But I would love to have a C-SECTION buddy, if someone will have me! No preferences other than having a scheduled c-section. Mine's not scheduled yet but it will be around the 11th. So maybe someone who's having one at the end of the month or in the very first few days?
I've been on the fence about taking on a labor buddy, as it seems that all the people I "know" are paired, but if there are any late or on the fence regulars that still want to do it, I'm available. @pineconey, I will pm you this message in case you can think of anyone in the same boat, if you'd rather not do it as I'm past the deadline, no worries at all.

This should be posted in the UO thread, but I really am failing to understand the rationale behind a self professed lurker or infrequent poster (no one in particular, just in general) who wants a labor buddy.
The point of labor buddies is to have a link to the board in case you can't post yourself with info or updates about your labor progression. If you rarely post and don't have any ties, history, connections or friendships here, why would you suddenly want us to know that you're 4cm and being admitted? Maybe I'm alone in this thought, but I won't really care about reading the "yay, so and so random lurker is in labor!!" threads.
to be fair, you're a pretty infrequent poster too. i know that's turning some people off from their matches.
i think you (ETA: "you" here means elf, not piney) might not understand the point of labor buddies. it's not meant to hook you up with a best friend (though i do end up texting with my fabulous LB quite often, which is beside the point...), it's meant to provide a means to access the board if you are not able to update yourself while in the throes of labor. those of us who have been chatting regularly with each other for the past 6 months have started to become invested in the lives and stories of the other moms on this board. i know i will be really really excited when i see some of my favorite girls go into labor... and labor buddies can help facilitate the easier transmission of up to date info as it's fed to them.
if you want a pregnancy chat friend, i hope you find one here (and you very well might! if you post more than you have in the past, you might end up finding a good friend among these ladies) - but i don't want you to assume that's what you are automatically getting when you sign up to be/receive a labor buddy. a labor buddy is a conduit of information.
@pineconey, I know @eme520 sent over the PgAL LB list, but I don't think my LB and I made it onto the final list, not that it really matters, but I thought I should mention that @Mrs+Hebert and I are matched up together.

It is difficult to stay active with my work schedule. I was just hoping for someone to talk to that is experiencing the same things. I apologize for not being able to invest a ton of time. I'm extremely overwhelmed with the whole pregnancy....
@Elf2718 Labor buddies doesn't mean you can't still come and talk to us. There are lots of regulars that decided they really didn't want a labor buddy, so, its definitely not a requirement for participating in the board. So, post when you can. Its all good!
