With my oldest she wouldn't latch so I pumped for 9.5 months. There were a lot of tears 1) because I couldn't nurse 2) lack of sleep she was a fussy baby & up every 45 mins to 1.5 hours until she was 6 months old & not sleeping great at that time. 2nd child no issues I was able to nurse. 3rd will latch but screams terribly after each feeding I've changed my diet but we are still having issues with him crying (sweats & struggles to breathe). I told him I wonder if he's getting too much foremilk he's more of a snacker eats often but not long. I was switching sides each time. He tells me then just pump again. I told him I refuse to do that again. Seriously I was worn out & depressed with my 1st. He did no night feedings etc so to him it's no big deal. He seriously acted mad when I told him I refuse to pump again. Not because "breast is best" he's too damn cheap to want to pay for formula. I just carried this baby for 9 months do not try to guilt me into pumping mister.

Re: Might deck husband
This helps with a baby getting too much foremilk. She said women with big boobs have that problem a lot.
And I would totally be angry if DH said that crap! Hope it continues to get better!
Men are so clueless sometimes. In a way nursing is kind of like extended pregnancy lite (body still not totally "yours" again, still some restrictions on what you can take or eat, etc). I really doubt many men could hack nursing TBH so I tend to think they should zip it in this arena.
