The good news is that her leukemia cell numbers are definitely going down. However, her immunity numbers are still VERY low. Unfortunately because of that--they don't feel comfortable releasing us. We are hoping in the next few days we will be able to go home. For the record most people's ANC count (the immune system numbers) are 1500. For a child with a low immune system, ore leukemia or something---the numbers tend to be around 500. They will release Reese once her numbers get to around 200. Yesterday her count was at 74! Today it went up to 120.

So right now it is her lack of immune system really keeping us in the hospital--which is understandable.

DH has to go back to work on Monday, so I am really hoping her numbers hit the 200 this weekend and that we get to go home.

My daughter is my hero.
