Ikea must haves?

DD and I are travelling to Vancouver with my parents for the weekend to visit with some family, but we're going to make a stop at Ikea where I rarely get to go, so I'm excited!

I've already been compiling a list of the things I want to get for the last few weeks, but I don't want to miss out on anything since it will probably be another year, but probably more like 2, before we get a chance to go back.

So, what are your Ikea must haves? Favorite items? Best value compared to elsewhere? We'll just be in my Mom's little Yaris, though, so furniture is out since there's not a lot of trunk space.

We go through a ton of AA batteries so we always stock up on those when we go. I like their fabric storage bins so we have a bunch of those. We love their plastic kids' dishes/cups/utensils and we grownups actually use them a lot ourselves. Ikea has a bunch of nice toys so I'd recommend checking them out. If you need anything for cooking/baking/etc they have a ton of stuff -- we love their 365+ series pots and pans.

Our favorite part of Ikea trips is eating at the restaurant.

If you sew, they have nice fabric options. I like their duvets, good quality for the price. Kid toys and art supplies are also good. My sister is obsessed with their ziploc storage bags.

Oooooh this makes me want to make an IKEA trip. We'll be near one tomorrow...sans baby....maybe I can talk DH into going in 'just for a second'!

I'm getting this cart next time we go. I NEEd it. The color. The wheels. Everything about it is adorable!

We usually get kitchen towels, tea lights, random kitchen gadgets, a few house plants.

I love their fabric they sell by the yard too!
