  • Lol, you really can't judge from the 3d pics. The proportions are always going to be skewed a bit bc of positioning, squished-ness etc. One of my lo's looked like he had a huge flat nose too and when he arrived he had a tiny button nose. Try not to worry too much and remember its a picture taken through layers of skin, uterus, fluid etc. your lo's will be perfect :).

A little bit but not really. Here is baby A for a comparison he was born 6 days after this u/s I think it was so pretty close. And that's him a few hours after birth

  • My MFM did a 3d u/s at my 16 week appointment and my 28 week appointment. My boys look exactly like their 28 week 3d u/s. It is pretty cool.

  • No 3D picture for me but DD1 looked like a bird when she came out and once she gained weight looked completely different. I wouldn't worry about it.

  • Hehe, sorry the post just made me smile :) considering how ugly some babies are at birth and how cute they turn out... I wouldn't worry.
  • Lol I know, I feel so ridiculous asking.  My 3 yr old looked a bit like his, but his nose looked a lot more pudgy than it really was, but I figured it's because the cartilage gets smooshed easily.  I'm worried because this looks more like the actual bone structure.

My ears stuck out growing up and I was tortured by other kids/teens about it, I guess that's why it's a sensitive subject.

  • Mine looked pretty similar to their U/S. My girl's nose looked big in the picture too but it's just fine now. I wouldn't worry!
  • Mine looked exactly like their 3ds. The only thing that was off was the nose. Noses always seem flat and squished on the ultrasound.
