Trying to Get Pregnant

So, I had scheduled my IUD removal and was set to go... This whole time I am expecting to pay $250 fee for the removal, but just out of curiosity I called my health insurance provider and asked them if they cover ANY of it at all... I would have been happy with 10% or whatever.. every bit counts, right? She said they cover 100% of the insertion and removal. Just thought I'd share. I hear people always talking about how insurance never covers iud removals. Anyway, Have a great day everyone!

  • She prescribed the provera because I was going on over 2 years with out a period, and with the iud that I have it doesn't have any hormones so I was supposed to be having a period still.

  • My iud is currently useless and has been pretty much useless the past few years since I haven't been ovulating at all. She was trying to see if the provera would jump start my period back up, but it did not: /
