Multicystic kidney experience?

Does anyone have any experience or stories of babies with a multicystic kidney? I am 33 weeks with baby who had one multicystic and one normal kidney and now they may see a cyst on the healthy kidney as well and I am starting to worry about what that may mean. I know baby will have an ultrasound soon after birth but I'm not really sure what the next steps would be. Obviously I will talk to my doctor at my next appointment but Google is making me anxious in the meantime and I would love to hear about any other experiences.

    I hope your little one will be ok, sorry no info on that other than us mom's need to stop goggling everything it is going to drive us all crazy!

    My son was diagnosed with poly cystic kidney disease in vitro. His kidneys are large and echogenic with cysts all along the edge. There wasn't a lot they could tell me to expect while pregnant just that i had low amniotic fluid which was closely monitored and I was given a steroid injection to help develop his lungs. I gave birth to him naturally at 38 weeks. He is 3 yrs old now and on medication and special diet for his kidneys, they function at about 50 percent, he is closely monitored by specialists but otherwise is leading the normal life of a toddler.
