At my 20 week u/s I was diagnosed with complete placenta previa....The doctor made it sound like most likely it would move, and now at my 30 week u/s today it had- but not enough. It's still considered "previa" but just partially. Have to go back in 4 weeks to see if it's moved completely out of the way. I guess I'm wondering if there are any experienced moms out there who have had a similar situation of previa, and if it went away in time to have a natural birth? Would like to hear some positive stories. Also, I just want to vent- even though it sounds silly/selfish, I'm really bummed to still be on "pelvic rest." Really miss having sex, and now to find out it's going to be even longer....and really, I dont know that I"m going to want to do anything 4+ weeks from now anyway! And then when the baby comes, I know it'll be awhile before things get back to normal in that department. I guess I'm just kinda bummed, even though I know it's TOTALLY worth it to have a healthy baby!
Re: Placenta Previa
Yours very well could move, the bottom portion of the uterus does a lot of growing at this point. I would request a final scan at 38-39 weeks to check the distance from the os if I was you, if it's not totally out of the way by the time you go for your 34 wk scan.
