I think people who are all judgey over other peoples wall choices are a little square. So I painted my kitchen orange... you don't live here!! Get over it!

    I'm terrible at keeping secrets. Super bad. I have no clue how I'll keep a pregnancy a secret for more than five minutes.

    I'm AWESOME at keeping secrets. Mostly b/c my memory is super shitty.

    Who got judgey about this? This is a totally normal color for a kitchen. We're putting in a new backsplash and the orange that I picked for the accent wall is way more intense orange and I had never even considered it being an issue! My only issue with bright colors is painting over them later sucks.

    OMG I would love to see your kitchen. I love bright colors in homes. I want to do a red room.

    I still have a fever, it's low grade. I'm still congested. Come the hell on cold.  I do feel a little better in my head, so maybe I'm over the worst. But ear is still achy, though. I'm still whiny. You can see this.

    Several relatives have expressed they don't like it. I have shown off our kitchen a lot b/c we did a complete remodel when we bought the house. I thought it was great!!

    This is close to the colour I'm hoping to paint my kitchen in soon.  I love it!  It boggles my mind that someone would feel the need to express their dislike of your colour choice.  Like, what was the point?

    There are some people that feel like if it isn't white or beige, you've ruined your house-- people who exist only for resale value. I want to enjoy my house while I live there, not preserve it for someone else.

    Are you pregnant? I wanted to keep it a secret for at least 3 months but DH had to announce it to everyone the minute we found out.

    I wanted to punch him so bad.

    Not yet, but hopefully soon.

    We painted our dining room orange. To be fair, it's the playroom. But it's not tucked away, it's like dead center on our first floor. Orange like the crayon. It's awesome.

    Be bold, it's just paint ;)
