Bamboo inserts

I know that bamboo inserts absorb more than microfiber but that they also absorb more slowly. Can I use a bamboo alone or should I always pair it with a microfiber?

I have never had my bamboo not absorb quickly enough. I don't use microfiber ever.

I use bamboo inserts laid in a cover. My absolute favorite combo.

I never would have thought to just lay an insert in a cover. I'll have to try that when he is older. I'll stick to just bamboo!
