BB Cream Users

I read on a post here a week or so ago about quite a few of you using BB Creams in your daily getting ready/make-up routine. I was amazed by this since I had never heard of BB Cream.  To Google I went....

To BB users, do you use it as an all in one as suggested on some sites? Do you put moisturizer on first then BB Cream?  I've tired tinted moisturizer thinking it would moisturize & add light coverage (trying to streamline my getting ready routine) but it's just not moisturizing enough.

Which ones have you tried & how exactly does it fit into your skin care/make-up routine? TIA

Re: BB Cream Users

  • I use moisturizer everyday. I keep BB cream in my purse for days when I'm out and about and decide to put on quick makeup- say if we decide to go out to dinner. Otherwise I use foundation if I do makeup at home.

  • I use Clinique's BB cream. I don't use a moisturizer with it because I have oily skin.
  • I always wear moisturizer, BB cream or not.  I like the Korean BB cream brands better than the U.S ones I've tried.  Most of the BB creams out there are just tinted moisturizer with a fancier name.

  • I love my BB cream. It has completely replaced foundation/powder for me. It is light and sheer but still provides great coverage. I use a light moisturizer after I wash my face and the BB cream goes on if I am doing makeup. I use Too Faced BB cream

You should go to Sephora and get a Color IQ done. They use this special camera to take a pic of your skin. It goes in their database and will give you the best color matches - and you can narrow it by foundation, bb cream, powder etc. They will email you the results too. The one they picked for me is Laura Mercier bb cream, but I haven't used it yet because my Too Faced isn't done yet

That sounds very cool!  I'm going to have to give that a try!  Thanks...
