DS definitely knows no and says it with purpose, but affirmative answers are usually just a repeat of what you just said. If I say "Do you want milk?" he'll say "milk." He also doesn't shake or nod his head to indicate preference, so it made me curious.
K only shakes his head no, but he does it to pretty much everything we ask. We are working on nodding yes, and its pretty hysterical because his whole body rocks when he does it. But so far he only nods when we ask him too and never in response to a question. Usually a big smile and giggle is what he uses to tell us yes.
