  I'm starting to dislike casual Friday just because my M-T shoes are slip ons, whereas on Fridays I wear tennis shoes that need to be tied.  Getting them on isn't too bad, and I've been standing up and putting my foot on the chair to tie them, but now I'm getting bad RLP when I put my foot up on the chair.

  Oh my gosh I think this every morning! Yesterday I resorted to wearing moccasins to school because I wasn't going to mess around with boots or trying to tie shoes. I'm sure everyone was wondering why I was wearing "slippers".

  I know the struggle, but DH wont help. I've resorted to my wardrobe revolving around anything that I can wear with my uggs because at this point that's all that fits . And that's all I can put on without blood rushing to my head and out of breath !!

  I know I know.  I put a chair by the door to put them on and take them off, but bending over now to get at the zippers to do them up is practically impossible at this stage.  Not to mention the swelling has made them really difficult to actually zip.  

  
  

  Hang in there it can't be much longer now.  Either we deliver or the weather wil warm up!

  I have discovered stairs are your friend for this.  I sit on the stair with my legs as wide as possible and then lean down and my belly can be lower than if I was in a chair and fighting my belly with my legs.

  I haven't worn boots since I was about 5 months along, even then dh had to put them on and tie them. I felt like cinderella lol

  @WoodShopGirl - amen to the stairs! That's exactly what I do. Although I've worn nothing but boots since November since we have had more snow than I remember in recent years and hit -30 again last night. Slip ons aren't even an option ...

  My husband prefers to watch and laugh at my boot issues. Usually we take our shoes off at home but I won't take my boots off now if I know I need to go back out again. I wish I lived somewhere where I could be in flip flops this time of year!

  I actually really like boots, because the pairs I have are pull on, not ones that tie. Now tying my gym shoes when I went to work out yesterday... That's a whole different story. If the freaking snow would ever go away, I'd be all about wearing any of my slip on flats!

  I love my boots.
  
  I use the stair trick often, but I also have some Bogs insulated boots that are low calf-height and I can just step into. I leave my dress shoes at work and commute entirely in the slip-on boots. I have a dressier zip pair that I use for going out on the weekends.

  I wore flip flops today because I didn't want to deal with taking my boots off for my dr appt weight check. It was in the 20's this morning and I got a nice "are you crazy" comment from the nurse. I'd rather suffer the 30 second walk into the office then having to take 10 mins to put those boots back on!

  Getting them on it tough, I agree. I also think wearing them is quite uncomfortable. I have big hefty ones that are quite heavy. I told DH last night that wearing them I walk slower and that my legs get tired from lifting them...it hurts my back to walk. Sad, but true. He just laughed.   Totally feel your pain. DH has been putting mine on since 10 weeks (herniated disk=sciatica=No flexibility in back). At my weekly cervix check I realized I hadn't planned my outfit very well and when it came to getting dressed, I was rolling on the floor struggling! I had to ask the nurse to help me get them back on!!! Wanted to die.

  The highs here in North Alabama have been pretty nice (30s-50s), so I also have brought out my flip-flops! Everyone looks at me crazy but I think it helps counteract the constant hot flashes I've been having Plus putting on anything else requires flexibility that I do not have right now.
