STM rotavirus vaccine

Hey there - LO got her two month shots on Tuesday and is having some diarrhea I believe in response to the rotavirus vaccine. I have a call in to the triage nurse and read that this can happen but was just wondering if others had experience with this side effect. Thanks!

Yep, I remember DD1 did when she had her first dose. I think it was gone in a day or so. Nothing to worry about.

Oh yes I remember this. Wash your hands good because the virus can come out in the poop, that's what in was told.

Yes, normal, even if no diarrhea you need to be careful washing hands for 2 weeks because it does come out in their poop for that long. Just a little psa I guess.
