One Bedroom with baby

Anyone else living in a one bedroom apartment in the city and thinking about having a baby nurse? I would rather not have someone in my 800 sqft apt with us for a week or two but then I get nervous thinking about what it will be like not having someone. Does anyone ever have someone come from like 7am-7pm instead of over night?

What does a baby nurse do exactly?

@BMaidplanner Takes care of the baby as much as they can. Some even do the dishes or help with laundry a little! I think the biggest thing is they take care of the baby throughout the day/night when he/she wakes (change the diaper, bottle feed, rock them, etc). Of course if your breast feeding, which I plan to do, all they can do is bring you the baby if its feeding time. When I talk to new mom friends they say the baby nurse was their savior, but all have 2 bedrooms and the nurse slept in the baby room.
