How the HECK do I stop the MOTN feedings...I am dying...Cooper will wake up at 2am and I wake up at 5am for work....My husband claims he doesn't hear him crying....LIAR
Agree with DC..i eventually realized he wasnt waking out for hunger, just comfort. I put 7 pacifiers in his crib and when he woke up i let him cry/whine for 5 min. after 1 night, he would feel around, find a paci, and put himself back to sleep.
Thank you! I went in at about 2am and he was just sitting crying, he probably isn't hungry but I always offer a bottle...I probably created a monster...

We did this too! I highly recommend the binky sprinkle if your LO takes one!

Yeah this is my issue too. Last night he was up at 2am and then 4am. I've just always relied on the bottle to put him back to sleep. Now that we're about to start regular milk and weaning from bottles I think I'm screwed

So, I was originally giving her 4 ounces of formula at night. I cut it down to 3.5 after about a week and a half, she was used to that. So, then I cut it down to 3. Once she was used to that, I cut it back to 2.5. Etc.
It took a while and there was some whining each time it got reduced, but by the time I got to .5 she had stopped waking up. I guess, .5 ounces wasn't worth waking up for!
Re: I know this has been discussed, but I am just too tired to look....
