Potty Training Question for the BTDT MoMs

I know I haven't posted on here in a while, but I thought I'd see if any of you BTDT mama's of older twins had this issue. We're trying to follow the boys' lead with the whole PTing thing. J LOVES going poop on the potty, pee is still a struggle. I hasn't made any progress. When we notice I going poop, we try to run him to the potty so he can finish there (hopefully to connect the dots), but every time J runs to the potty, makes it there first, and prevents us from putting I on the potty. It's like he thinks the potty is his and only his, brother is NOT ALLOWED to use it. Any advice? I have no idea how else to get I to understand that poop belongs in the potty if we can't get him to finish there due to his brother cock-blocking him.

    The easy solution is to get a 2nd potty. Is J going potty when he "steals" it or just sitting on it? If he's just sitting on it then I'd make him get off. If he's also going potty then just get a 2nd potty until they're both fully trained.

    Neither will use a child potty. We have a potty ring that we put on the big toilet. So the fight is over the actual toilet, not the little ones you can buy in the store. Those are play things :(

    Is your 2nd kid actually going potty or just sitting on it?
