Midwives in/near Bellingham

I'm in Mount Vernon, but looking to give birth at the Bellingham Birth Center if I can. I've got an OB but want to switch to a midwife. Any recommendations for a midwife in the Bellingham area? I've found quite a few but some opinions would definitely help guide my search! If anybody on this board is here up north, that is... :)

    @yayksimp - Bellingham OBGYN has an amazing midwife, but it's the type of practice where you see everyone on a rotating basis and whoever is on call that day delivers your baby.  That doesn't sound like what you're looking for, but she's great!

    Ooh, thanks.  Does she actually do deliveries, etc., or is she just there to assist the doctors? I'm not sure how it all works...

    According to their website, she delivers 50% of her patients.  The practice where she works rotates their on call days, so whoever is on call that day delivers your baby.  I've been able to meet her and the doctors in the practice and I really like them.

    Yup, BOGA's midwife, Katrina Hanna, is a godsend. She's amazing. She would've delivered my baby if I hadn't needed a c-section, though she did still assist. I love her and honestly can't wait to get pregnant again just to be able to see her.
