Very sad today (not TTC related)

Yesterday I had to put my cat to sleep (inoperable cancer). I've had her for almost 16 years. When I first left my hometown to head out on my own, I brought her with me, and she's been with me through everything since (different cities, different jobs, grad school...) it's kind of like losing a piece of myself, and a really horrid reminder of how time marches on. I miss her already. Really, really crappy weekend :(

July 2014: IUI #1.  Follistim + Pregnyl.  2 follicles--BFN
September 2014: IUI #2.  Follistim + Pregnyl + Ganirelix + Crinone.  4(?) follicles--BFN
October 2014: IUI #3.  More Follistim + More Ganirelix + Pregnyl + Crinone.  4 follicles--BFP!  Beta #1=10 Beta #2=33 Beta #3=97 Beta #4=158.  M/C 11/1/14
December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    Oh no...huge hugs. I am sorry for the loss of your kitty. Hoping the sweet memories you have of her will help you cope over the next few weeks. It's never easy putting a precious pet down :( {{hugs}}

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Oh no!!!! Im so sorry. Im a cat lover so I know how this has to hurt. Hugs. Im sure she had the happiest most wonderful life a cat could have with you!

    So so sorry for you. Our pets are a part of our families so it's ok to grieve the loss of your cat.

    Huge hugs...all of my animals have really been family, friends and confidants. I hope you are able to find comfort in your memories. It's ok to grieve for anything you love......

    I am truly sorry for your loss.   We recently lost our sweet doggy, she was 15 years old and know all too well how painful it is.   They are a part of your family and heart.   I hope you find peace in the memories of her.  (((hugs)))

    Aww, thanks, ladies! You guys are the best! And, @czarmom, I'm sorry for your loss as well.

    I'd known for a while that I was going to have to do it eventually, but it was harder than I expected. DH was pretty great, at least--both at the vet and at home, where he did way more than his share of the weekend chores so I could be sad in peace...

    It is devastating to lose a pet. I'm so sorry. We have three cats, one who is 16. And while we jokingly complain that she is going to live forever, I know I will be devastated when she goes. My heart goes out to you. xo

    I'm so sorry. I had to put down my 19.5 yr old boy 2 years ago and it was miserable. Big hugs. Time passing is the only thing that will help.

    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!

    I am truly sorry, I just put my 19 year old girl down on Christmas Eve. No matter how much we know its coming ( I knew for a year) its is the toughest thing to, I too feel as if part of my heart is missing.

    Take time to grieve, pets are as important to us as people....and sometimes more important. Sending you hugs through the airways ((((hugs))))

    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!
