  • I've never heard of Top of the Lake. What is it? Do I live under a rock? ;-)

  • Big bang theory, mike and molly, two broke girls, mom, cheapskates, my strange addiction, my 600 lb life, OMG i watch a lot of TV....

The walking dead, american horror story, Alaskan last frontier....
  • Thanks! I do watch some of these such as Big Bang theory, Mike and Molly and Mom. Mike and Molly needs to step it up a bit. Other than mom I haven't really tried any new shows in a couple of years now. I'll have to look into some of these

  • One excellent miniseries that we just finished is The Hour. There are two 'seasons,' each their own story. It's (very) British. On Netflix but only as discs, not streaming. About an investigative news program like 60 Minutes, set in the 1950s so you get the great clothes and such like with Mad Men.

  • I watch a tonne of TV so I recommend everything on your guide!  Lol.  Actually, if you're buying seasons or watching on Netflix or something, I suggest American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, or Sons of Anarchy.  Those are the ones we like but have to buy since we don't get the good channels.  For comedies, have you seen The Goldbergs?  So funny.  I also really like New Girl and Modern Family.
  • Chicago Fire is really good too.
  • Today Show and Good Morning America, haha! I'm such a geek.

Besides that, I watch corny TLC shows and Discovery Health. Love Trauma shows, Untold Stories of the ER, police shows, etc.

Yeah, I don't watch typical TV.

If you don't watch anything else, you MUST watch Broadchurch. Amazing story and beautifully shot. My faves (some repeats of above -- we have good taste!): Sherlock, Elementary, The Good Wife, Downton Abbey, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Episodes, Orange Is The New Black

  • Mine are fairly different as I'm a bit of a nerd! *Sleepy Hollow - Great diverse cast *Blacklist - Intense, James Spader, 'nuff said *Agents of Sheild - Again, nerd *Meet the Goldbergs - If you we're a child of the eighties with a smothering mother, must watch *Tomorrow People - CW, but not terrible *Dr Who - One of my all time faves *Call the Midwife - Wonderful BBC period drama
  • I loved Top of the Lake!

I'm watching Parenthood on Netflix right now, I just finished Call the Midwife, Bomb Girls & Land Girls.

We recently watched this show called Black Mirror, it was wild. Pretty thought provoking.

We dumped cable last year, too but I'm anxiously awaiting the next season of Orange is the New Black on Netflix and I'm looking forward to the final seasons of Mad Men and Sons of Anarchy. I still love Modern Family, too.
