TTC thread?

Hey ladies! So i've seen a KU thread but (maybe I missed it) is there a TTC thread?

We have decided to start trying on our own until the summer. If by summer we havent conceived then I'll go to my RE for treatment. I don't have my hx in my siggy any more, but I have low AMH which makes it a little more difficult to conceive. Crash course on low AMH -- it's a hormone that is indicative of your egg reserve, but it does not tell you anything about quality (that's more your FSH). Basically, I'm 27 and have the reserve equivalent to a 43 year old (as of 2012 before I got tx) so I did a round of clomid and got lucky the first go (and after an HSG)! I don't know the declining rate which is why we decided to try again sooner rather than later!

Anyone else on the TTC bandwagon? I use to be on the TTGP board but I consider this board home and would love to share with you all instead.

We have decided to "non-actively" try. If it happens now, great, but I am not going to calculate/chart it out until after this summer.

I think I am ok with it now...So we will see what happens in the next few months.

Wont be doing anything like charts or OPKs yet.

So sorry about your fertility struggles. I hate hormonal BC, so we decided not to renew my mini pill prescription this month. So, currently NTNP, but also not really DTD (still horribly painful 6 months PP).

We are. Though not really DTD on a regular basis since DH is travelling. I stopped pumping so that things would return to normal. Hopefully this time will be easier for us to get ku.

We will try IVF again in a 1 or 2 if we are not pregnant. For now we aren't preventing and just praying it happens. There is no point in charting or temping for me so we will just practice for now.

I originally said I'd wait for DS to be 2 and then try, but I loves being pregnant and have a fairly "easy" LO so that's got me dilution thinking #2 will go the same. Also, my best friend, DH's best friends wife and DH's cousin we are super close with are all due in August, so that's giving me major baby fever.

I think I can talk DH into trying over the summer or early fall. I'm in the mini pill so an oops baby is highly unlikely.

I went off my bc, but we still use condoms. Current plan is to wait until January 2015, because I would like to have my body all to myself with no pregnancy or breastfeeding for a full six months. But we might push that timeline up. H interviewed for a job that would allow is to pay off debt more quickly and make it easier to sah. Right now, we could afford two in DC but I don't want to.

Woooo! Sounds like a lot of us are in the same train then! Not actively trying with charts and opks but not preventing! Awesome!

So maybe I can do a loose thread. Nothing consistent since we aren't actively trying?

Yeah we have sex once or twice every 2 weeks. Pssh.. I hate scheduled sex but now the mister is all, "are you ovulating now..."

I might start temping closer to the summer. I did it the last time around too. It wasn't as stressful as some people made it seem but they might have been spazzing out more than me.
