I know there are experienced travelers on the board....
Is it true that most airlines don't charge to check a car seat? We're traveling to FL in April. I don't want to bring a car seat on the airplane, but I'd like to have it with us for the rental car.
Delta website says that "Children’s strollers and seat restraints are not counted as part of the standard baggage and therefore can easily be checked for free" Is this referring to a car seat?
