Possible elevated amino acids?

I just got a call from the pediatrician saying that LO's newborn screening blood work needs to be repeated -- her amino acid levels came back slightly elevated. It could be a lab error (which I am praying is the case) but I stupidly googled and now I am really worried. Anyone else have this happen?

    @mrssturm45, thank you. Helps to know that it is a common lab error! Praying that is all it is. Just breaks my heart to have to bring LO to be pricked yet again -- this is actually the 3rd time as the first test was invalid as they did it too early.

    This happened to us!  We had the screen done again and everything was normal.  Try not to worry!  If the number wasn't crazy high it is likely a false positive.
