SNOW DAY!!

My super intelligent new Head of School gave us the whole day off since it's dangerous to have kiddos on the road when the weather comes through in the middle of the day!

Excited to have some extra time to relax and spend some one-on-one time with DD1.

Anyone else off??

They're calling for 8-12in where I am, but my boss is STILL making me work! My fiancé said last night, if he doesn't let me go early that I should just leave. I wish lol! Enjoy your snow day

I feel so bad for people with stupid bosses that won't send people home early. I mean, if it's not safe, it's not safe!! I'm a nervous nelly driving in bad weather. I made DH take my car (I have an SUV, he has a sedan) to work and promise to leave as soon as it gets bad!

I live in SW Ohio too and we are on a winter weather advisory expecting to get more snow throughout the day. Unfortunately my work never closes. Here's how clear our roads are.

We have a snow day and it hasn't even started snowing yet! I'm not angry though! I picked DD up from her grandmother's house and then braved the market.

I plan on getting some more sleep. DD already told me she was going to take a nap!

Yeah, there's no snowstorm shiz going on for me today, but Ontario is coooooold, and I'm thanking my lucky stars that this is the first day in ages that I don't have to leave the house.

We're in northern VA--no snow predicted to start until 10AM at the earliest, but I'm still really glad they didn't send us to school only to send us home again!

I'm in MD and it just started but it's already blanketing the streets!

In MD- enjoying the change of scenery outside my bedroom window. DH is the operations manager of a large company and they NEVER close for weather. Boo to being snowed in alone.

I used to love getting up early, cereal bowl in hand, listening to the radio as they rattled off all of the schools in the area that were closed. Such a fun memory. Glad you get to have it as an adult.

I'm also in MD and it started here just as I went out to put DD in the car for daycare. I'm supposed to be teleworking today, but we'll probably go get her after nap time (around 3pm).

we're in South Jersey and the new estimation is somewhere around 16 inches. my district let all the schools out early, which was nice because the roads weren't bad yet and we don't have to make this day up at the end of the year. so what did I do? went to Target and got Pringles. winning.

Pants when driving are the worst. I know LO thinks so too because she kicks against them the whole time! Hope you get your day! We have off again tomorrow... My TB post count is going to skyrocket this week!

Nope, no snow here! It was in the mid 40s most of today here in Negishi (small city near Tokyo, Japan) but, we are forecasted to get some snow on Sunday! I love to look at the snow, mostly because I don't drive hardly ever, and take photos of the dogs playing in it

I'm a nanny of two and the mom is a teacher. She had an early dismissal yesterday and today off. Woohoo. I need the rest too so I'm happy. We got 14 inches of snow here outside Philly!!! Glad the roads are cleared for my OB appt in a few hours
