Affordable wood convertible cribs

Hi Ladies,
I'm looking for an all-wood crib and wish I could actually see the ones I've been considering before ordering online. since that might not turn out to be the case, would love to get opinions on any of these, if any of you have them or have seen in person:
Do they feel sturdy and seem to be of good quality?

Davinci Raegan.
Also curious about the Davinci Raegan 2-door changing table. I love it, but online reviews weren't great.

Appleseed Stratford

TIA!

  • I love our graco! A lot of stores carry them but there are just more models and better prices online.

  • We have a graco crib too and it's great, very sturdy and seems like it was far more expensive than it actually was.

This. A lot of people love their Graco. Check out walmart.com- you should be able to score a free mattress & $9 shipping. They sometimes do free mattresses on Davinci & Babymod cribs as well. Read the reviews.

  • Not sure what you would consider affordable but the people on my favorite blog got an all wood crib at Wal-Mart for $285.  Here's a link to the crib: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Baby-Mod-ParkLane-3-in-1-Baby-Convertible-Crib-Amber-and-White/5983290

And here's a link to their blog post about buying it. https://www.younghouselove.com/2010/02/nursery-progress-crib-notes/ Not as good as seeing it in person but over the past few years there have been tons of pics of their kids room with the crib in it on their blog.

  • We love our Graco so much, we are buying a second for the LO on the way. We have the Lauren. It's beautiful, v expensive-looking, sturdy as heck, and was a breeze to put together. Also it was easy when it was time to lower the mattress.
  • I had a DaVinci Kalani for my 1st and LOVED it! DaVinci is one of the few brands that includes the side panel and rails for conversion.
  • We also have a Graco Lauren. It's very sturdy and looks like it cost much more than it did. We are getting 2 more Graco cribs for our twins. I highly recommend them!
  • We ordered a Graco Lauren.  It's convertible and had top ratings from consumer reports.

  • DaVinci Kalani. Comes with toddler rails but full size conversion rails are another $100. We love it. We had a couple damaged parts to begin with. Purely cosmetic, but we still wanted it fixed. The company was wonderful about sending replacements right away. Just open the crib a bit early, just in case. It assembles and converts really easily!
  • I love the idea of a 3-in-1 crib, but what does it look like after it's converted to a bed? Aren't there a bunch of exposed screw holes and such on the headboard when the sides are removed to convert to bed?
  • Graco Lauren love it.

Not on the Graco. The screw holes are in the place where you connect the headboard to the rails for a full-size bed. Lots of websites will show you pics of the cribs in all their formations. We made sure we liked the final look with a full-sized bed before buying the crib. (But make sure your room has enough space for a full-size bed instead of a twin or the point will be moot!)
  • we have this..bought it at walmart and it shipped free to our local one. I wanted a more modern steamlined looked crib. It's sturdy and great and came with a free mattress. #2 is on the way and I think we're going with the Graco Lauren for something a little different from this one.
