Clogged tear ducts and breast milk

My LO has clogged tear ducts in both eyes. We've been massaging them but it hasn't helped much. I've heard that massaging them with breastmilk works to clear them up. Foe those that have done this--how often did you do it and did it work?

    I've only had to do it once and it cleared right up. Just put a couple drops in her eye and wiped excess away.

    My little Man had a clogged tear duct the other day.  I massaged it often and put BM in it probably 3 times and it was cleared in about 24 hours.

    Ben has had them since he was a week or so old. I have tried the breastmilk with no luck. With ds1 we just had to wait until he outgrew it around 3-4 months. Literally just one day it opened on it's own and we never had to wipehis eye again.
