Help with Baptism invite wording...

I'm sorry I'm not a regular on this board so I hope that it's ok if I ask for help.  I'm planning DD2's Baptism and decided that it would be nice to do a Brunch before the Baptism since we have this really great restaurant nearby that does a great brunch, BUT I'm having a hard time coming up with wording for the invite.  Usually all Baptism invites talk about the Baptism first, the church, time, location and then put Reception or Brunch immediately following at such and such location.  This won't work because the Brunch is first....or if I do put it in this order I'm afraid everyone will overlook the time for the brunch and not realize it's before.  How would you word this?  Thanks for any suggestions.

    Hmm...that's a tricky one. Since the baptism is the main event I think you still need to put that first on the invitation.  I would probably then put something like "Please join us for a celebration brunch preceeding the ceremony" and then put the time and place for the brunch, and make the word preceeding (or just "before" is fine too) stand out in some way.  Make sure you say "brunch" so it occurs to people that it's not an afternoon thing.

    After that I would just wait for the RSVPs to come in and maybe just give those people a heads up in case they didn't realize. I do think most people will realize it though. Good luck!

    Thanks I'm fiddling with it and I put the Baptism info and then below put.  Please join us for Brunch prior to the Baptism at 10:30am with the restaurant info.  Hoping like you said it sticks out for people.  I like your wording better though. Thank you!
