  I did it with my second and I definitely noticed a difference in energy and mood on days I took it. I'll do it again next time.

  No, never heard of any side effects from placenta pills. It's not a drug.

  Ok thanks. I've been hearing mixed things about what it can do with your milk supply. Some say it increases it and some say it can slightly decrease it.

  I have never seen or heard of a decreasing supply from placenta pills.

  I'm interested in it, but afraid of getting weird looks from my Dr. I don't have a doula or a midwife... how do I even go about doing this?

  You can probably look up places that do it near you and contact them. Maybe mention it to your doctor and get of feel of what they think. Maybe ask "what do you think of placenta encapsulation?" Something along those lines. And alot of people that do it just tell their doctor they want to keep their placenta because they want to bury it.
