Glider/Rocker Useful with Twins?

Just wondering if a glider or rocker is at all a worthwhile investment with twins. I gather that tandem feeding won't work in a narrow chair and that is what I plan to do. Is there a better option? I recall being so uncomfortable nursing in bed with all of my singletons and tended to use our glider instead. Since then we sold the glider and I wonder if I should be purchasing something different before the boys arrive.

Mine aren't born yet, so this is just hopeful thinking, but I got a recliner with low arms. My breastfeeding pillow sits on top of the arms, so I am hoping that will work. I mostly was looking for something comfortable that I could move to another room later.

I love my rocker from BRU, it's more of a lazy boy type rocking chair not the typical glider. We use it for rocking when fussy or doing one on one feedings. I don't think it would work so well for tandem feedings but that wouldn't stop me from getting one. When the girls are older they can definitely both fit on my lap and we can use it for story time.

I have a big comfy upholstered rocking chair from BRU in the nursery it's comfortable and easily fits both babies for tandem nursing. I also have and amazingly comfortable oversized lazy boy that has electric buttons to recline in my DH got me so I didn't wake the babies to lay back while holding them etc. and that is down stairs in the family room.

Thanks, ladies!!!! This is super helpful info. Big comfy rocking chair (a la lazy boy) it is! I already mentioned this to my mom and she is out shopping for one as we speak. She shops, sends me a pic and then I buy! Too funny! I think she is really excited for the new grand kids!!

If you have a buy buy baby in your area, I would check there. The one I wanted from la-z-boy was going to cost like $900 by the time I picked out a fabric. I got a power recliner from buy buy baby (in red!) for $475. They let you use their 20% off coupons on custom order furniture too.

I saw this "1 1/2 rocker" recently and thought that could've worked. My twins are 2 now and I'm still considering getting it for my next singleton so they can sit with me while I nurse if they'd like.

My sister bought me a glider and it came yesterday. I am a FTM and she said she loved her glider when she had my niece. Not sure how useful it will be for holding both babies in...however, it is nice to have other options for places to sit with the LO's at home.

That is really cute! I really wish you could go try it out in a store first though. If anyone gets this chair, let us know how it works!
