Hello Stretch marks (naked)

I have never been one that wanted to take nude photos, but after getting out of the shower today and seeing my first pregnacy stretch mark, I think I should have took one, just for me. Oh well, stretch marks are the battle scars of child bearing. Anyone else feel the same way?

Re: Hello Stretch marks (naked)

  • I don't have any yet, but I got them bad when I went through puberty, so I know they're coming. Honestly, it's NBD for me because the ones from when I was a teenager are so faded you can't even see them. Don't stress the stretch.

  • @LilNunz1 I tried but since there was no banana republic I had to improvise and get the cardigans from New York and company. I'm hoping it still works. Finger crossed !
  • I have marks from the first one. I also heard coconut oil is good for this skin.

You're cursed. She clearly said Banana Republic only! Duh.

    I'm doomed!
  • I have them all over. With my first, I didn't think I had them. I was soooo excited! Turns out, they were really light and more noticeable after I gave birth. I still plan on doing boudoir pictures after this baby and I lose weight. DH thinks I'm sexy either way and I'm sure your SO thinks the same about you! I figure they're not going away, so might as well rock them! So I say go ahead and do them.

Has anyone tried @flerlgirl's method? Just wondering if it works.

I think I missed this method. Please share with me! I don't mind to the ones that I have from DS, but I would like to not get anymore if at all possible.

  • I don't know which stretch marks are from pregnancy and which ones are from losing/gaining weight. How do I know which ones I should flaunt and which ones to hide?
Seriously. I have very few so far -- I think because I got them all during puberty and from subsequent general weight gain. I think everything that can stretch has done so by now. ;)

Yes, someone please explain...was OP naked when posting or should we be naked when reading? Or maybe it is the naked truth?

Haha damn snow making my commute 2 hours long really cuts into my bumping time.

  • I have stretch marks, varicose veins, and spider veins. Definitely the scars of childbearing (and puberty). I use a half coffee half brown sugar and a splash of olive oil scrub on my butt and thighs and it helps a lot with the stretch marks (tip: save your used coffee grounds from your morning cup. Caffeinated not decaf). I see an improvement when I'm consistent about it. And I will be having laser treatment for my vericose veins soon because this pregnancy is making them really prominent.
  • Edit: this will not CURE stress marks. But it does significantly improve the appearance. Caffeine and scrubbing heats up the cellulite and the sugar exfoliates while the oil moisturizers.
  • Can someone walk me through why every time I search the June search box I get results from every bump month club?  And I'm sure I'm in the June search, it's the second search down, and I even reclicked the already present June 14 drop down. I WANT TO SEE THE BANANA REPUBLIC POST! LOL

    Okay, for gray hair:

Find a bus stop with a person using an umbrella in the rain. Walk up to them, turn your back on them, and quack seven times. Walk quickly back to your car/house, depending on how you got to the station, and turn the radio on to the 80s station. Blast the music for twelve minutes. Drive to the grocery store and pick up a Granny Smith apple, three navel oranges, a loaf of whole wheat bread, and one egg. Throw the egg at the door of someone with a stupid fence. Stupid fences annoy me. Eat the rest of the food. Run outside and shout "FREEEEEEEDOM" at the top of your lungs.

Tomorrow your gray hairs will be gone.

Eat an entire loaf of wheat bread? I'll be stuffed!

  • @skamber, my agent is still working it out. He is not very experienced but I want to give him a chance. He's only 11 months old so I have to be patient.
