I am going through the same thing, I didn't have it last time (with my daughter) or maybe my previous doctor should have tested me again. My last baby ended up being 10.13 and they never said much to me until 38 weeks about my measurements just that I was gaining too much weight. I am about 5'5" and my husband is 6'4". This time around I have been eating super healthy but still am gaining the same weight. My doctor this time is keeping a better eye, more tests and trying to help me with my dream of VBAC, but it could be out of my hands again.
Its so annoying. I eat very healthy too. Ive had the diabetes test just waiting on results. Im 5'6 and my partner is 6' so we could just have a big baby. Well im hoping. All this worry then they leave you for weeks while they work things out!!! Arghhhhhh
I recently got my GD results and they came back good. However, they took forever to do it and it makes me wonder why don't they do it sooner. I feel like it should be done way before to advoid later issues but I am no expert.
Well my results are back and they are normal, wonder what else it could be ive asked could i be further along than they think and they seem to think not! So frustrating!
As others have said, measurements can be off. Way off.
Or the measurements could be dead on and you either carry big or are having a slightly big baby. My last sono predicted him at 9lbs2oz. He was born 2 days later at 9lbs 6oz. I measured ahead by 6 days from my first appointment, but as I had been TTC and charting for 2 years, I knew exactly when I O'd, so we were not off on the date. GD test normal; I did not even gain too much weight. I measured 3 weeks "ahead" starting at 24 weeks. I just had a "bigger" baby.
Either way, if your doctor isn't worried and your tests are good, no reason to worry!

I am also measuring a few weeks ahead. At 33 weeks they estimated baby at 6 lbs 5 oz so above 99th percentile. I don't have gd , just a really big baby
