What did your FET cost??

I was just quoted $6700!! That's barely less than a fresh cycle!! Is this normal??? I found another clinic near me that it only(ya only, right?!?) $4500... Can you ladies give me an idea of what is average?? I am so tired of taking out loans to have babies..sigh

    $2500 is what my RE in Suburbs of Boston Charges, In NYC I was quoted 4k but that was in 2012

    Mine was 4700, my clinic is in san diego ca and i did external monitoring in washington where i live, and we military so the external was covered, would have been more if we were civillian...
    Also a fresh cycle for us is 8700, so the cost was ab what i was expecting...

    I know the cost sucks, and its hard to do, i am sorry!

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    ~ $3500 before meds. Then if you get pregnant, you need extra monitoring so more $ (but insurance picks up at the cost at that point).

    I'm in Northern CA, high cost of living area.

    I just asked about the cost with my clinic. They are currently charing 3075, but that includes no meds and only 2 monitoring visits… hmm 

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    My FET was literally two appointments.  A lining check and transfer day.   This was for a medicated FET.  I'm wondering if a natural FET is more expensive since more monitoring is involved.

    I was quoted $1500 before meds and monitoring. But they said there would only be two appointments, one for a saline test and one for lining check. So I am thinking it will end up being around $3000.
    TTC since June 2011
    DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
    Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
    Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
    IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
    ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
    Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
    u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat
    EDD 12/12/12>

    Ours is $2500 plus $1500 for the mandatory pre-cycle testing, so $4k total.
    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    I think it's $1500 not including meds at my clinic in Canada. I think the price you were quoted is outrageous.

    Oh, and I should add, that in addition to the 3075 I was quoted, I would have to have the usual reevaluation stuff, only some of which would be covered by my insurance, so it would likely cost another 700 for HSG or saline sono and then another 1000 for meds. So, really, it is about 4,700 or thereabout.
